# Slack

> Receive workflow notifications in Slack

Send [notification events](/docs/notifications) such as data changes, workflow health, and data quality issues to a Slack channel.

## Connect a channel

1. Create an [incoming webhook](https://api.slack.com/messaging/webhooks) in your Slack workspace for the channel you want to post to.
2. In Kadoa, go to **Notifications** in the sidebar and click **Add Channel** → **Slack**.
3. Enter the channel name and paste the webhook URL, then save.

Leave **Channel ID** empty unless Kadoa support has set up a managed Slack app for your workspace.

Then subscribe the channel to events at the workspace or workflow level. See [Notifications](/docs/notifications) for the available events and configuration options.
