# ChatGPT and Codex

> Connect ChatGPT or Codex to Kadoa

Add Kadoa's MCP server at `https://mcp.kadoa.com/mcp`, then sign in with your Kadoa account. You need no API key. For what your AI tool can do once connected, see [Connect your AI tool](https://docs.kadoa.com/docs/sdk/mcp.md).

## ChatGPT

1. Go to **Plugins**, click **Add**, and choose to add a custom MCP server
2. Enter a name (for example `Kadoa`) and the server URL `https://mcp.kadoa.com/mcp`, keep **OAuth** as the authentication, confirm the risk notice, and click **Create as a plugin**

3. Click **Connect Kadoa** and sign in with your Kadoa account

## Codex

codex mcp add kadoa --url https://mcp.kadoa.com/mcp
```

Codex detects OAuth support and starts the sign-in flow right away. Open the printed URL if your browser doesn't open on its own, and sign in with your Kadoa account.

Run `codex mcp list` to confirm the server uses OAuth. To sign in again later, run `codex mcp login kadoa`.
